What to expect in a Thai Yoga Massage
To prepare for your Thai Yoga Massage, it is important that you have an empty stomach and that you change into loose comfortable clothing and have clean bare feet. It is useful to tie back long hair. You will be asked if you have any health issues, injuries or limitations that need to be respected. The massage is performed on a comfortable massage mat on the floor. There are seated poses, single-legged poses, side-laying poses, back poses, and double legged poses for the full body massage experience.
To get the full experience, relax, breathe and allow your body to be guided from pose to pose.
Afterwards, it is important to drink plenty of water and rest as much as you can for the remainder of the day. It is common to feel wordless and reflective. Enjoy a rest from your chattering mind and allow yourself to just be.
